TERMS & CONDITIONS

Tariffs:

Tariffs are set and are subject to change without notice. No responsibility is accepted for errors and omissions contained on the website and ensuing correspondence with respect to bookings and tariffs.

Bookings:

All bookings require a deposit to be paid of 20% of the booking. Three months prior to arrival 50% is required to be paid and the outstanding balance is payable one month prior to arrival along with a refundable security bond of $500.00 by either direct deposit or credit card (2.041% surcharge applies for all credit cards if applicable).

Bank cheques accepted by prior arrangement only. We do not accept cash.

Proof of Identification:

It is a requirement at the time of booking that the guest who books the property with Can Properties Noosa provides Proof of Identification by the way of Driver’s License or Passport.

Security Bond:

The property will be inspected after the guest has vacated the property. Any extra charges that arise from damage/hire etc that have been incurred by the guest will be deducted from the refundable security bond.

Cancellations:

Your deposit, less the credit card fee (if applicable), is refundable up to one months’ notice in writing prior to your arrival date. If you cancel your booking after that time 50% of your deposit will be refunded and if a substitute booking is taken for the property on the same dates and full refund will be offered.

Check in and departure times:

Check in time is from 2.00pm on the date of arrival and the premises to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Number of Guests:

The premises must be kept clean at all times and the number or occupants must not exceed the number of beds provided for, or the number agreed to with the agent at the time of booking (whichever is the lesser amount).

Cleaning and Linen Changes:

For bookings greater than eight days, the property will be lightly cleaned, and linen changed mid-stay, unless otherwise stated (mid-stay cleans included only at selected properties). Additional cleaning and linen changes can be arranged, an appropriate fee will apply.

Excess Cleaning:

The property is offered in a clean condition. On departure  it is requested that all rubbish is removed and placed in bins provided and the property left in a clean and tidy state. An additional charge will be incurred for removing rubbish scraps and any excess mess from the property and cleaning considered to be more than normal will also incur an additional charge. Acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’ will authorise the manager to deduct the costs from the security deposit. 

Extras:

Should you require a cot, high chair, pram etc please contact one of our local holiday hire good companies – Sands Holiday Hire, Emu Holiday Hire or Hire for Baby – all have websites and will deliver to and pick up from your booked accommodation.

Keys:

Loss or damage to keys, remotes, or alarm fobs will incur an additional charge. In the event that the office has closed and the keys are misplaced or left in the property an after hours call out fee will be incurred.

Pets:

Under the local health regulations and Body Corporate Rules, no pets are permitted in rental accommodation.

Functions:

Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions and parties are strictly not permitted, and penalties apply.

Personal Property:

No responsibility is taken by the agent or the owners for Tenants personal property.

Breakages or Damages:

As the tenant you are responsible for all damages, breakages and loss incurred during the term of your occupancy. These must be reported and paid for – if found unreported the cost of replacement will be deducted from the credit card details provided by the guest.

Inspection:

An inspection of the premises can be made upon demand by the owner or the agent.

Circumstances Beyond Control of Agent and/or Owner:

We accept bookings in good faith as agents and as such we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control. The properties are presented in good clean condition, no refunds or relocations will be given should you find the property not to your personal liking We make every attempt to promote the property and describe the property as it presents and Can Properties nor the Owner, will not be liable for  any misrepresentations or misunderstandings at the time of booking.

In the event of any of the following, every reasonable endeavour will be made to  find alternative accommodation.

1. The property is sold or withdrawn from letting
2. The tariff is increased after your booking but prior to your occupancy
3. The property is altered in any material way. (this includes any renovation, change of furnishings, construction within close proximity to the said property)
4. Although rare, occasionally due to human error double bookings do occur. In this instance we will endeavour to assist you in seeking a similar alternative for the same price as the accommodation booked or offer a full refund.

Can Properties Noosa recommend you take out full travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Body Corporate rules:

Body Corporate Rules and Regulations must be complied with by guests and their visitors. These conditions are in agreements between the parties. Any infringement permits the owner or the agent to amend the rental or immediately terminate the tenancy. Please notes, No Smoking is allowed inside the premises.

Injury:

The Agent or Owner will not be responsible for any injury suffered to a guest, or visitors of a guest unless such injury resulted from the negligence of the Agent or Owner.

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Payment of the deposit confirms your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the booking.

Can Properties Noosa participate in the Bad Books register! By accepting this booking and our Terms and conditions you hereby agree that if you or any occupant covered by this booking, including any guests, breach our Terms and Conditions then your Name, Phone Number and Email address along with details of the breach/breaches may be disclosed to the property landlord and/or other agents participating in the Bad Books register. Can Properties Noosa reserve the right the cancel a booking where a guest is registered in Bad Books.
